On the Avon river bridge. You can pick out Hengistbury Head in the distance by looking south (to your right). The superb riverside residence, -Goya, is on the north side of the bridge. Designed by the present owner (an architect) 12 years ago, it enjoys direct river access, via the river Avon, to Christchurch harbour.
